After flashing the RevPi Core device (using an image file that has been confirmed good with 20 other devices) two devices fails.
The /boot/config.txt is empty.

piSerial fails with getSerNum() -1
Hi,
how can I troubleshoot this issue:
1. flash a device with a new image
2. piSerial -s returns "getSerNum failed -1"
I dont have the original image so I cannot reverse.

I have a monitor connected, but no mouse or keyboard. All web services are unresponsive nor is it possible to connect ssh/sftp There is still a hdmi output (many hours) after the 'crash' , the attached photos are from the connected monitor.
