Re: MIO and Too many communication errors
Hey thanks for that. I will be on site today and can do that. As the system is installed can I do the module upgrade as an entire system, or do I need to attach only the on module at a time? This particular MIO seems to be giving invalid inputs for all the sensors. It varies from some sensors feedin...

MIO and Too many communication errors
We are having problems connecting to the modules of the RevPi. The dmesg from the PI is at the bottom of this post. The NodeRed Pins kept dropping out, and the piTest -d Returns no modules. It seems one of our MIOs keeps returning 10700 values for some of the sensors, although the sensors haven't ch...

Re: MIO Inputs either 0 or 10700 with 2-10v sensors (Converted)
Thanks Dirk. So the a flickering of 0 and 1 input for the sensors that are connected isn't a result of other unused inputs not being grounded? if so, I think we have two issues here. e.g. If I have a sensor connected to input 1, and had all other inputs ungrounded, this would not affect the input 1 ...

MIO Inputs either 0 or 10700 with 2-10v sensors (Converted)
HI, I have a system which has a number of modules (AIO, DIO and 2xMIO). All of the sensors in one of the MIOs seem to be either reading 0 or 10700. I have noticed that 10700ish is the value when disconnected. I have 4-20 sensors running through Intrinsically Safe barriers that are powered through 24...

Re: Input and Output pins Connecting
RevPi Connect SE We figured out the value issues on the inputs seem to be a wiring issue, which will hopefully be sorted Monday. But the the reconnecting issue was unresolved. For more information I have had these flows on the PLC before working no issue. Then moved and edited them on a Raspberry Pi...

Input and Output pins Connecting
So we have installed the PLC with 2 x MIO, AIO and a DIO, that was previously working, and now I am getting a mix of random low values and "connecting" and "reconnecting" states on some input pins and all output pins.
Has anyone had this problem and resolved it?

Re: RevPi - node-red-contrib-revpi-nodes wont update
Ok thanks. Sorry your wording made it seem like there could be issues, which I was not wanting to risk.
I updated the revpinodes-server and then used the script you suggested.
Wasn't recognizing the server. But just restart the nodes-server and was good to go.
Thanks again.

Re: RevPi - node-red-contrib-revpi-nodes wont update
Can I confirm which versions of NodeJS and NodeRed are confirmed to work with the RevPI connect+?
When you say unsure if it will break, do you mean the 3rd party libraries?

Re: PLC Modbus Information
Thanks I will keep this handy next week.
If I were going to use the pictory Modbus setup, would the information be available to node-red interface through the revpi-nodes?

Re: Detect Addon module Connection Status - NodeRed
So if I analyzed an analogue input on the AIO, it could return a fail purely because of that one input? So to know if it is the module, would have to return failed for all?
