Reboot after 10 seconds

Post by jassa »

Hi,

I have a RevPi Core with DIO and DO modules on the right, and an AIO module on the left. It has been running fine until yesterday when the RevPi Core rebooted and then got in a cycle of rebooting every 10 seconds.

I ended up disconnecting the AIO and now the DIO and DO modules are working as expected.
  • Because it reboots every 10 seconds when the AIO is connected it makes it very hard to diagnose the issue. Is there anywhere I can find logs on the Pi to see what is going on with the AIO? When I run the last command it simply says crash and then reboot. The status LEDs on the AIO look good when it is connected.
  • What would cause the Pi to reboot? I would assume it would log an error.
Thanks.

Hi,

The log files are saved in/var/log. Especially the kernel log file (kern.log) would be interesting in this case.
