Re: Configure output relay behaviour on Connect SE

Thanks Giuseppe. For future readers, my interpretation of this is: * The Connect SE follows the rules for the Connect (not the Connect 4) * When power is off to the Pi, it is as if the relay is open * As soon as power is applied, the relay becomes closed, and there is no way to change this * The rel...

Configure output relay behaviour on Connect SE

Hi, I am working on a project using a Revolution Pi Connect SE that uses the single output relay to control something. We want this to be "safe", meaning if power is off to the Pi, or the Pi is on but our software is not running, or our software is running but isn't trying to control the r...

Re: On the rev pi web login page, the checkbox to disable reset password seems to be invisible

I have just done "sudo apt upgrade" and this has updated the web page to 2.1.0, and the problem is resolved.

On the rev pi web login page, the checkbox to disable reset password seems to be invisible

Hi, I have notes from previously setting up a Revolution Pi that suggest that when you change the password for the web admin user, there should be a checkbox to disable the "Reset Password to Default" option. Now I can not find this option. The web page version string says 2.0.5 from 2020....

How to read the single digital input on Rev Pi Connect SE

Hi, We are using Rev Pi Connect SE, which has one built-in digital input and one built-in digital output. I can see how to read and write the digital output using the RevPiLED byte, but I can't find the documentation for the single digital input. Is it perhaps in one of the two undocumented bits in ...

Re: Teamviewer memory leak causes periodic reboot

Hi Dirk. I can see the same problem on my test Pi in the office, so I have collected and sent the SOS report as requested. I have disabled teamviewer on the web page. I can see using "top" that the teamviewer-iot-agent process is running, and the memory usage gradually increases. On this p...

Re: Teamviewer memory leak causes periodic reboot

Thanks Dirk. This particular pi will never again be connected to the Internet, so we would require an offline installer for the SOS report tools. In practical terms, we will probably not return to this site for a while unless the problem is not actually resolved and further reboots occur. If I get a...

Teamviewer memory leak causes periodic reboot

Hi All, We have a Revolution Pi installed at a client site with our own custom software acting as a Modbus data concentrator. The Pi was experiencing a periodic reboot, with quite a specific period. A reboot every 710 hours, plus or minus a few hours (that's around 29 days). The site is difficult to...

Re: Predicting lifetime of eMMC storage

Thanks very much for that helpful info lukas. I'll be recommending RevPis for this project.
